I follow and go over at Alcide as she shifted, a small frown on his face as he slept. I knelt beside him and stroked my brother's hair, whispering for him to wake up.

"N-No." He whispered and rolled onto his back when I saw a small picture clenched in his hand. I gently took it from him and gasped. That's why he loved her so much...Why he asked her... I shook Alcide harder, "Alcide, get your ass up now before I knock some sense into you!" I yelled, tears falling.

I look at the bucket then at Will as if to say, 'You're a genius.' I dump the ice cold water on Alcide, making him jolt up, wide awake.

Alcide looked at me with tear filled eyes as if to ask, 'You know..?' I nodded then hugged him tightly, not caring about him being soaking wet.

Sometimes, a little sister needed to comfort her big brother, when no one else could.

I gently pulled away from Alcide who wiped away his tears and shoved the picture into his pocket. "I'm so sorry, Alcide." I whisper and he nods. "C-Can I be alone for a minute?" I nod also and stand, needing a moment to myself also. I grab my flashlight and my pistol before walking silently around the shelter.
