Molly I took the fancy knife and hid it in my sling again feeling much more freedom of movement than before. I bite my lip and tried not to talk, talking only made things worse, or so it would seem.

Sierra: I silently handed Molly a pair of the shoes. Rorke seemed so depressed. It was starting to make me feel bad.

Rorke looked out a window. This was by far the worst thing that had happened to him the whole trip. He let out a silent sigh. Home was so far away and who knew where his voice was. With no voice soccer would be even more difficult especially with his position. Maybe if the girls cared when they got back they could see him on TV for a soccer match or even go to a game. But that was far off.
As he thought these things he knew he was being selfish.

Molly: I carefully slid on the shoes and put on a false smile. "let's go find the joker, c'mon bat girl and robin." I said with a lousy joke.

Rorke gave half a smile of course he preferred to be batman. Afterall Christian Bale is British and he is the strong boy. He just wanted his voice before he got seriously depressed who knows what that would do him.

He shrugged. He thought down but since he had no voice. Maybe this was good thing teaching the girls to lead and think with out him. He didn't know.

Rorke 's mind speed to ahoy a million things he could loose. Besides his voice, which was already gone. He would have voiced his thoughts. But for the time being they would have to stay as thoughts.

Rorke searched his pocket and silently flicked a red joker card to Molly. He would have done it in silence anyways.

Rorke shrugged he wasn't sure whether to agree or disagree. But he did want his voice out. He looked around none of them seemed to have a lighter.

Molly: I took the knife from my sling and picked up a good sized rock from the stone floor. I saw this in movies, I could only hope that it would work.
I slid the knife across the surface and grinned as sparks jumped off, this could actually work! I put the card on the ground and tried the procedure again but this time a spark hit the card and began to create a tiny flame.
I looked at Rorke then at Sierra with a joyful grin.

Sierra: I grinned widely. I wasn't sure what was going to happen next. I wasn't seeing any sign of the Joker yet.

(If anyone has any ideas of what should happen next, you can take over the Joker's character. I really don't care. Razz

Molly: I looked around then sign, there was no sign of him. I felt a slight pressure on my shoulders and I frowned, what was that? I reached back only to feel two hands. I jumped up and screamed, kicking the person as I ran over to Rorke.

Rorke instinctively embraced and protected the girl, who could some times get on his nerves. He would have told the person to show himself but not having a voice stopped. In a way it was a blessing and a curse. Probably more curse considering the pain they put him through.

Sierra: I gasped when I saw who Molly was running from. "The Joker," I whispered.
Joker: "Yes, it is me! Aren't you happy to see me again?" The Joker spun around in his place and ended in a crouch at Molly's feet.
