Keith nodded, about ready to fall asleep. He looked at the paper saying that he was nobility. He just looked at it, and shuddered, before folding it, and slipping it into his pocket. he soon fell asleep. Like he said before he wasn't going to use his room tonight.

I raise a brow with a look of mild curiosity. "Oh really." My voice is flat, "Well I just came to ask that whoever did hit the Archer house tonight. If they wouldn't again." I glance at Lorenna when I say this, now almost positive it was her. I setting back in my chair, eyes watching the two carefully.

Lorrenna: "Why does it matter to you whose house I steal from?" I asked. Pain made me snippy. "I don't get on your case for stealing for Andrews and whatever old bag you're going to seduce into having tea time with." Tanner raised his eyebrows at my little outburst.

im getting off too charlie.

goodnight.

"Its personal" I tell her calmly, surprised by her outburst but try to not let it show. "Just like I don't ask who you sleep with I'd like if you didn't ask of my own matters." I'd no need to tell them either of the relation, or the danger she put me in.

Lorenna: My cheeks were now a hearty crimson glow now. Tanner was smirking at both of us. "You don't need to as me," I shot back. "You've already come up with your own assumptions and nothing I can do can change your mind." I shrugged, drew my injured leg onto the chair, and began gently rubbing it.
Tanner was enjoying this way too much.

Tress Janessa Morgan (TJ)
age:21
gender: female
Stealing Couldn't be Funner - Page 26 Stock-photo-beautiful-dark-haired-girl-lies-on-bench-in-park-54821797
Personality: Cold and calculating. Joined Tanner because she was in debt to him. Is his own personal assassin. She's not afraid to die and not afraid to kill.
Bio: Grew up under her father's caring wing, if you can call a murderer as such. He taught her all his tricks and even started teaching her how to use a gun when she turned twelve. When he got too old to work, she started working for him. But she made the mistake of being careless on clean up. That's when her first of three years of debt started with Tanner. Now, five years later, she still works with him.

okay Smile

Tj: I kneel down, slipping my gun into its holster by my ankle. Then I make sure it's covered by my pant leg before continuing to walk out onto the sidewalk from in the alleyway. Spike oughta get there pretty quick to clean up my work. I frown at the thought of him being late again. I hate having to clean up after myself. It's just more work.

Jacko: I left the inn and wandered out into the streets. The night had finally set. This was the time for those of us who didn't care for the law to go out and prove it to everyone. Lorenna, being the silly girl that she was, had to go out as her way of sulking. I had no way of knowing where she was until Jon got back. If Lorenna didn't want to be found, then she wouldn't be.

(tanner has a big common room in his house where he does business. jacko goes there sometimes. if tj spends some time there, jacko will recognize her. he has a photographic memory. he might not know her name though. even though jacko doesn't like tanner--and that's an understatement--he doesn't have much against those who work for him.)

(aha! i get it)

Tj: By the time I'm out of initial range, I can tell someone's following me. I make one last calm turn before running. There are a few shouts, but there aren't very many people in this district of the city, so I won't have much problem. I just have get to Main and they'll back off. I slip into another alley way, crouching down slightly to retrieve my gun and push off from the ground. My fingers barely make contact with the hanging ladder of the fire escape. I duck my head a few times when shots ring out, ricocheting off the metal of the ladder. When I get to the second balcony, I take aim and shoot at the bolts holding the ladder up. Two bullets. I only got eight left. But it slowed my pursuers down, the ladder sliding down farther with a screech.

I make it up onto the roof, searching for a quick escape. I just gotta make it over two or three streets and I'm safe. I dash across the tar roof, calculating how hard I have to push off from it to make it to the next roof.

(i'll brb :p gotta take-ith a shower)

(kk
dis isn't modern day o.o i don't know why a lot of people think it is. sorry to burst your bubble. she can have a repeating crossbow as her weapon. that way you wouldn't have to change your post at all)

Jacko: I looked up at the sound of a chase. The guards were very careless sometimes. It would be much more effective to set traps for us. I walked down the street staring at the people around me. These were the people I helped with the money that my people stole for me.

(lol no worries. yes, it's in a medieval time. have you ever read tamora pierce? it's set in a time like that just without the magic.
with a crossbow you usually have to reload it every time you shoot which can take up to a minute. a repeating crossbow automatically reloads.)

Stealing Couldn't be Funner - Page 26 Empty Re: Stealing Couldn't be Funner

Post by lily "the author" hanna Mon Sep 06, 2010 12:04 pm

(whoa. awesome!! okay Smile I was thinking ahead - as in future - but then was like, wait..so now i'm sort of getting into it Smile in a way...okay! let's see what I can do)

Tj: I grimace as my footing isn't exactly perfect when I get to the next roof. (i'll have it just be a tile roof, this time). My ankle protests a little, and I slip down a ways, but I'm on the very edge of Main. I duck as an arrow (does that work?) flies over head, and pull my hands back and have to replace them in new spots as more arrows come my way. Then I find my escape route. A rope. I'll just slide down and to the ground. I take it in my hands, swearing to myself when I realize I dropped my gloves somewhere behind me. I can't worry about that now though, so I start my descent down the side of the building. I'm almost half way down when the rope starts to sway. I grip tighter, clenching my jaw. The rope swings me around, smacking me right into the hard brick wall. My breath is forced out of me and I have to wait a few seconds before trying again. I don't give up, trying to tug at the rope to keep my followers from whacking me around.

I'm only a few yards from the ground, I can make the jump. I brace myself before pushing lightly from the wall with a foot and letting go of the roof. I attempt a light landing, kneeling low to absorb the impact. I groan when the aftershock stings my thighs. I straighten, keeping my expression indifferent as I walk swiftly away, hiding my slight limp. I glance over my shoulder, knowing they won't be following me anymore. Another close one, if I'd been more off today, I'd be dea-- I stumble back when I ram right into someone.

Jacko: I turned around as some ran into me. "Excuse me," I said, politely, catching the girl's shoulder to keep her from falling. I smiled down at her. Her face appeared somewhat familiar. I racked my brain for where I had seen her.
