"What? No, I need to be doing something!" for some reason I've lost a load of weight trapped in Tanner's house being starved to death... Then there was a reason but never mind, "Has Sapphire even tried the dress before she complains..."

(lol is it grammatically incorrect or something?...yeah...i think it might be Razz)

Jacko: I looked between the two. I still wasn't positive where her loyalties lay, Freedom's not Lorenna's. She had stormed off, but then she had come back, to help us. But maybe she was just scared of Tanner. The way Lorenna was.
One time, in the middle of the night, Lorenna had awoken, screaming. I found her in her bed with the letter 'T' sliced into her stomach.
Tanner had denied ever sending someone to do that.
No one knew about the thin scar on Lorenna's stomach except me, Tanner, and Lorenna.
Even if it hadn't been Tanner, someone still wanted me to show that Tanner owned Lorenna.
I shivered at the memories.
That could have been an act of war against our factions, but Lorenna had convinced me that Tanner spoke the truth.
'He can't lie to me,' she had said.

"Fine," I crossed my arms, glad that first of all that my neck wasn't marked because in the morning it shall be bruised and second of all that my dress had a high neck line, covering it anyway, "What details do you need? But I need to go back to my place, I need to sort my dress and mask out..."

this is what lorenna has been up to Razz

Lorenna: I shut the door behind me and leaned against it. This was not my day. First I had a conversation with Tanner, then Jacko made a decision without me, then Jacko took Keith’s side.
I pushed myself off the door and slipped over to the window. I dropped down out of it onto the wall that ran around the stable yard. I hopped down into the alley. It was dark and cramped. The sun was starting to set. Cold air froze me to the bone. I hurried down the ally and out into the street. I kept to the shadows and the alleyways where I could. Whenever I saw guards, I ducked down an alley and waited for them to pass.
Finally, I reached my destination. The mansion of soft white shone in the setting sun. It was the humble abode of one Jason Archer. He was a merchant and one of the richest in the city. Like most merchants, he lived down by the docks, close to his ships.
He was also my favorite target. I had robbed from him more times than I could count. Every time, he doubled the guard, but nothing stopped me from getting in.
This time was no different. I scaled the wall with easy. After waiting for the guards to pass, I dropped down into the side garden. I ran through the shadows until I reached the side of the house. The guards didn’t hear my nimble feet on the grass.
I pressed myself against the wall and glanced in the window. Archer and his wife sat on the couch, talking quietly. I jumped up, snagged a low hanging branch, and swung up into the tree that stood next to the building.
Archer had demanded that all the trees be cut down, but his wife had overruled him. I scampered up the tree and crouched the branch that swayed outside Archer’s bedroom window. I saw two guards standing into the open doorway, the one that led into the hall, but their backs were turned to me.
I slid the window open. It made no sound. If this were my house and the best thief in the city liked to steal from me, I wouldn’t oil any of my hinges. But Archer was vain.
I dropped into the room. The guards didn’t even look up. I crossed quickly, but quietly to Lady Archer’s dresser.
On it I found a necklace with a single pearl dangling from it. This would have to do. I was just here for the fun of it. I snatched the necklace and glided to my exit.
Armor creaked. The guards swore. I turned around, just in time to duck the butt of a spear. I rolled away from the guards, caught the edge of the window frame, and propelled myself into the night. I slammed into a tree branch. My breath left me in a whoosh. I hung for moment before dropping to the ground.
By that time, the alarm had been sounded. I raced across the grounds, only to stagger to a halt as the guards converged on me. I ran to the back wall. The guards followed swiftly on my heels.
The wall was lower here, due to erosion. I jumped up and snagged the top of the wall. Archer was aware now that he was being robbed, again.
“Catch her!” he screamed. “Catch her, you fools!” I pulled myself over the wall and ran into the city.
By now, the entire city guard would have been alerted to the robbery and they would be combing the city for me. Keeping to the alleys, I made my way back towards the inn.
Three guards appeared on the street in front of me. I doubled back, but two more approached from behind. I darted down an alleyway. A wall rose before me. It couldn’t have been more than ten feet high. I kicked off the wall and jumped in the air. I had used this trick many times. It was my signature move.
My foot landed on the top of the wall. And slipped. A thin sheet of ice, frozen by the harsh weather, coated the top of the wall.
But it hasn’t rained recently, I thought as I tumbled forward. My leg crashed down hard on the top of the wall. I fell forward, off the wall and landed on my side. I groaned and tried to push myself to my feet, but the world was spinning too much and the pain was bursting inside of my.
Everything went black.

Tanner: I stepped out of the shadow of a doorway and looked down at Lorenna. I had coated all the walls in ice, knowing that that was how she would get away. It was sheer dumb luck that I had stationed myself at the one she fell from.
I had known Lorenna would go out tonight; she always did before a big heist. I told her that that was stupid, but she had never listened.
I picked her up and carried her back to my place.

forgive me for the grossly long post.

"Get me a sheet of paper and a pen and I'll do it," she shrugged, rubbing her neck from Tanner's hold. It still tingled but she tried to ignore it, her head spinning slightly; she was tired and wrecked, "But after this I gotta go..."

Tanner: I laid Lorenna down on my bed. My personal medicine woman, Orchaya, stepped forward. "I need to examine her in private," she said, ordering my out without really saying it.
I left the room and sat down in the sitting room. Tomorrow, I would send a messenger to Jacko, telling him that I had found Lorenna, bruised and beaten, in a back alley.
In exchange for her safe return, he would give me a twenty five percent cut of all profits he madeon his palace heist.

@kenzie: yes, yes! i agree that's good idea
