I blink a few times before I smile. I take a seat in a chair and look up at the ceiling, tempted to sing but I fought it. And lost. Soon, I was singing an old family song in Italian.

I change the song to another one, one my grandfather would sing to me when I was little.I sang it in Gaelic, tears welling up as I do so.
