Advanced Role playing and char chats

Alright I keep seeing this everywhere I go. I'm still like uber new to the whole set of things, so would anyone like to explain to me what the difference between a regular roleplay and an advanced roleplay is. Besides the fact I need to type 'an' for advanced. I really don't understand honestly, even if there's a difference it kinda seems to me like you guys are trying to make it impossible for people who are just catching on, which in my view is kinda mean.

Advanced chats are basically for the people that are looking for a roleplay that isn't all one liners. Advanced RP's usually consist of 4 sentence minimum posts, with correct spelling, grammar, capitalization when necessary, and punctuation.

... Now that kinda really makes it seem like you guys are trying to limit who's in it. I don't understand the point, I know all my grammar and cap and punct issues. But for me its everyday words, so like it'd be impossible for me to join them.

Them? No, it's not like a conspiracy or something lol. The casual typo is okay, just something like this:

"i look at him and smile. 'yeah ik its lik soo cool.' " Isn't acceptable.

But what I'm trying to say is everyone has their flaws. Mine wouldn't be that occasional typo. When I'm typing certain words, its always the same. I always capitalize Hi(Don't ask me why, I do this when I'm writing on paper too.) And I could list off at least 50 simple words that we use almost constantly in stories. Punctuation in general is my weakest area in anything, if you can't tell from this post. To end though the last thing that would limit me being in it is my description ability. You see this extremely in my books if you were to read it. You'd have one scene that takes up an entire chapter, and one that barely lasts a paragraph. Here my average post is 2 or 3 sentences, with an occasional 3 or 4 paragraph one for the stories I extremely like.

... Idk I feel like I'm just rambling right now, so I'll probably just drop the subject. I suppose the simple way to explain it is, 1. Your scaring the newer people away, and 2. it seems kinda unfair.

Scaring the new people away? No. It was never intended to be that way. I'm sorry if you perceived it that way, or what. Advanced role playing isn't a club. You don't have to be in. It's not like you have to be invited or anything, so I'm not sure what you mean when you say that advanced role players are being unfair. You want to know how to be an advanced role player? Make an advanced role play. That's all. Anyone can do it- new or old. Advanced role plays are simply for the people that are looking to challenge themselves with their writing. If a role player doesn't feel that they're ready to try an advanced role play, then so be it.

I'm sorry if you've ever felt excluded in any way here. We want every chatter to have the best possible experience

{By the way: I've always thought that CC's and RP's were the same thing, but Mr. Bobert told me that a RP is more...advanced? I don't know. Everyone's opinion is different.}

I am not that good at them, it is a way for me at least to improve myself. I have found myself typing longer things in all my chats because one person *cough*weallfalldown*cough* convinced me to join, even though she new I wasn't the best.

Its a chance to grow, not exclude.
