When Tarrant had finished with his tea, the cup turned into a piece of bread with strawberry jam. He began eating it, leaning against a large rock.

Dominic glared at all the Magikals. He hated every last one of them.

I came up to Dominic and gently touched his shoulder a hurt look on my face. "Does that mean you hate me too?" I pouted even though there was hurt in my eyes and voice.

"Of course I don't hate you," Dominic whispered softly. Then, in a louder, cover voice, "Yes, yes I do hate you and every last stinking Magikal here."

Tarrant glanced over at the dirt castles. "You don't have a balcony, you know," he said suddenly. "Where's the queen to enjoy her afternoon tea? Without a balcony, she'd simply fall to the ground!" he laughed wildly.

(I just finished Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland," so please excuse any lunacy on Tarrant's part. I'm on a bit of a rondom, quirkiness kick right now. Smile

I turned around and walked away, pretending to be upset because a part of me was upset, hating that we had to hide our feelings for each other. I didn't like it one bit. I closed my eyes, Can we talk? I sent to Dominic. I wanted to know why we had to hide so much.

Sure we can, Dominic resplied. He leaned against a tree that was very close to the circle of salt. He kept a close eye on the other Magikals, making sure they didn't attempt any escapes.

I don't like hiding like we do. I don't understand why we have to hide. I say, soft tears falling. I leaned against the tree he was leaning against but he didn't know. I slid down the tree, hugging my knees and burying my face in my knees.

But they know that I don't, So why hide anymore? I don't want to hide anymore because when you said that........I almost believed you. I hugged my waist, the tears continuing to spill as soft, quiet but pain filled sobs left me.. I then did something that I swore I would never do. I closed my eyes tightly and said the blinding spell. I opened my eyes as they turned to a beautiful bright silver, but I couldn't see. Good.

"I do believe I've been ignored," Tarrant remarked.
"Of course they're ignoring you," he turned to face left and answered himself, "You're stark raving mad."
"I shall take that as a compliment, thank you," he said, turning to face right.
"If you're going to be that stupid about it," he sneered, turning to the left, "You don't deserve that bread and jam." He reached out with his right hand and snatched it from his left, throwing it to the ground. When it hit the ground, it promptly turned back into a grain of dirt.
"Hey, I was eating that," he said, looking to the right.
He flipped his head and turned a complete circle, nose in the air.
"I won't stand for myself turning my back on myself!" he said indignantly, still looking to the right. He put his nose in the air again and turned around.

Look, Dominic said, his heart dropping even more, I suppose, for now, we don't have to hide. Just please, don't cry. The bit was in a very pleading voice. He truly wished to make Raela happy.

(Okay, I would just like to say: Poor Tarrant. He's being reduced to arguing with himself(Not that he cares, he does that all the time), and everyone's still ignoring him...)

Of course Dominic thought back. He turned away from the tree, and found Raela sitting against the other side. "I'm here now," he said softly.

I shakily stood up and looked in his general direction with bright beautiful, but sad, unseeing silver eyes. I laid my hands on his shoulders then leaned up, going onto my tip toes, and kissed him with tears falling softly.

Dominic kissed her back. He gently wiped the tears from her face.

Tarrant still sat with his nose in the air, but spared a glance at the guard and Magikal kissing. He face fell into a gentle smile. "Aww," he said softly, then turned back to the right. "I can't stay mad at you when people are kissing," he said and hugged the air. Then he turned to the left and hugged that air. "I can't stay mad at you either. Sorry I threw away your snack." He dropped the air and turned back to the right.
"Oh yes, you did. I'd almost forgotten... For that, I can never forgive you!" He turned and placed his nose in the air again.

(Tarrant is on the Magikal side. He is absolutely insane and was arguing with himself because he commented on your character's dirt castle needing a balcony for the queen to enjoy tea on and you ignored him. Thus began an extensive argument with himself. Smile

Dominic hugged her tight. The other guards knew about their relationship, and apparantly the Magikals knew she was a traitor, so Reala was right. There was no reason to hide at the moment.
