"Ow." I say as I sit up rubbing the back of my neck. My boots had dirt on them and I had a massive bruise on my shoulder. I grimaced, rubbing the bruise slightly.

I nodded at Verena then winced. "Does anyone else have bruises?" I ask, gesturing to the one on my neck and the one on the back of my shoulder that went over my collar bone and down my chest.

Sierra: Ow, crap! I woke up with a jolt. Someone was sitting on top of my foot! "Ow! Get off, what's wrong with you!" I started rubbing my extremely sore ankle, it didn't feel like the boy sitting on me did it. The injury felt days old, maybe three, I would know because twisted ankles were a common thing while running track.
