I lifted my brow and asked, "Why you?"

I looked from one to the other, examining them. "Hello there!" I giggled and linked arms with the girl's brother.

Shawn: I looked at her then at Alice and grimaced. She laughed.

Jesbel: I look down with tears streaming "i-i don't think you understand"

I sighed, "Kris, just back off for a sec. Kay?" I ask, voice soft and eyes pleading.

I threw my hands up and rolled my eyes. "Fine fine..Go have your girl talk."
I swung myself back up to the tree and threw my jacket off to let my black wings out.

I sigh, "It's not that it's because I have experience with this." I look up at him and gesture to my blind eye which is a pale ice blue. "There's a story behind my blindness you know."

I smiled and spoke sarcastically, "Yay! Now we can share our feelings. Hm..I think I speak for everyone when we say we've all had plenty of experience."
I pointed at what was once our home.

I let out my wings and flew down to grab my daggers. I wiped their blood on my pants and stuffed them back in their pouches.

I rolled my eyes. "How the hell am I supposed to know what to say to someone who's sad? I've never experienced it. In case you haven't noticed, I grew up without any family so losses...not my thing."

I made a face while looking at the dead knights. "Mmm...I'll pass."
