Styler: "At 16 a Shadow Thief goes through a change. Basically their new first for blood. Their powers heighten and they get a new one. In the ceremony they basically get entwined with shadow more. The marks on our hands represent that. And after the ceremony they often change either in shape size or colour or all three."
