Kody: I find a nice spot a little off to the side and stretch out on my back. then when i can't fall asleep, i curl up on my side and close my eyes tightly.

Alaric : I prepare to keep my hand there and narrow my eyes at him but in the next moment a couple of kids through a Frisbee my way and it knocks me over. I groan, it hit my right over my jaw.

Kody: I nap this really weird dream where it's just me and Alaric, and then...
my face reddens as i realize that we're kissing. i try pinching myself awake. i can't be having these dreams about my best friend! can i? my eyes snap open and i'm breathing hard. i can not believe myself. i glance over my shoulder at Alaric.
My face flushes. i get up slowly, sitting down on the other side of Sol away from him.
i'm never going to sleep again.
not for a while anyway.
