Zero : I put a pom-toped hat on Mitten's head and helped her into her coat. It wasn't very cold out but i had to dress her as normally as i could.
"Remember, if someone talks to you you run and come to me, K?" I said to her.
She nodded, her face suddenly dertermined. "Mittens will be a good penguin," She smiled taking my hand.
I shooky my head, smiling and opened the door. We were only going to go get some new batteries and a ramen set for me to eat. Mitskuni was pretty deteermined to make me a meal but i hadn't installed any cooking programs into her so Ramen was the easiest thing for her to make.
The sound of music made it over the smoke and the loud noise of the city as we walked. I spotted a girl over at a corner.
"Oh, pretty music," Mitskuni whispered, her eyes wide and awed. I smiled and lead her over to listen.

AB: i smiled at the little girl and the other person who came over to listen. my struming changed as i shifted songs.

Zero : Mitskuni stopped, her smile was gone and replaced by a look of pure astonishment. I had shown her old screenies called 'music videos' that i had found from the 2000. let me tell it was hard to get my hands on those. seeing as it was 2999 now. but still she never acted so amazed even then. It wasn't until she pulled my sleeve and made me bend for her to whisper : "Music is like Mittens." That i looked up to see that the girl was really a vocaloid as well.

AB: i finished off the song and smiled at them. "Thanks for listening!"

Zero : I turned around , made sure no one was around and then said in a low voice, "You're a Vocaloid." I was shocked. Was she not registered? Why would she be singing in the street?
"Hi hi Other Mitten," Mitskuni waved her mitten-clad hand.

Billi: "Yeah...so?" i asked, my voice low. "The people loving hearing me sing, so they let me."

Zero : I gaped at her, ''Sure but why haven't the police taken you away yet?" Vocaloids were pretty much entertainment slaves on tv and on the radio. It was illegal for them to sing out in the open for fun.

AB: "The people wont let them. They enjoy having me on the street. and i aslo donate most of the money i make, so i dont make a profit out of it. i just keep enough to keep me running, and fix my instroments."

Zero : I didn't say anything. This was not possible...the people couldn't do anything about something like this because this was government law...
"String," Mitskuni whispered, plucking a string from one of the instrument the other loid had, curiously.

AB: i smied at her. "This is a guitar." i moved her hands so she could strum it.

Mitskuni : The string made music when you put your fingers to it. I had a string holding thing at home and i played with it when no one could hear me. Master liked when i played it but master looked so unhappy right now. I frowned, "Bad string," and bad mittens...

AB: i sighed, and put the guitar back in its case. "Where are you guys off to?" i asked.

Zero : "The electronic store and then the mini-mart," I said. Mitskuni made a small singing sound like a sigh and a hiccup. She found her way over to me and started to snuggle my chest like a baby kitten. "Mitten mitten mitten, master," she murmured then stopped and stayed where she was. I sighed and put my hand on her head. She still needed a vocabulary-upload. She didn't know many words other than the basics. She couldn't even say my name which was why she called me master. She liked m words.

AB: "She is so cute." i smiled.

Zero : Despite feeling uncomfortable around another loid i found myself smiling.
"Cute," Mitskuni said, testing out how it sounded in her mouth.
"Shes almost a year old now," I said, patting her head and she entertained herself with saying 'cute' over and over again while buttoning and unbuttoning one of my coat buttons. "Her name is Mitskuni but she likes to be called Mittens."
