Gray : i shrugged, still smirking. I would not say if i liked it or if i didn't. I would also not say if i could or couldn't. "The masquerade is coming up soon. You can have one of the vamps teach you."

Nell: The walls came up. I felt my face close off and that granite-hard look return to my blue grey eyes. "I'd rather not learn from one of them," I ground out through gritted teeth. Then I remembered who I was talking.

Gray : I nodded and looked down, smiling. "We are a disgusting species aren't we?" I gave a short harsh laugh.

Nell: I looked at the floor. "I sometimes forget that you are..." My voice trailed off. I always forgot that Gray was a vampire. He just didn't seem like one, except when he was in a blood lust then it was very apparent that he was a vampire.

Gray : I waved my hand a bit. "Don't ever forget that i am. Unlike Xero you could kill me with out hesitation and you may need to one day," Which was what i wanted more than anything.

Nell: He was right; I shouldn't keep forgetting, but I remembered when it counted. "So, about that masquerade ball..." I wasn't a fan of deep conversations especially ones that involved killing people. "When is it?"


((is this a legit masquerade ball with masks and sweet dresses like in van helsing...? i honetly haven't seen anything else where they dress up in cool clothes and wear masks...))

Gray : i shrugged. "I just got the text message from the headmaster right before i tried sleeping. Apparently he's not in charge of it." It was probably set up by the crazy human fangirls of the vampires as an excuse to see them all night.

((what about a legit masquerade ball? we had one at my school once for pretend no one dressed up as the teachers thought. everyone just wore a costume that had a mask that goes with it. lots of Jasons and lots of Screams there...
i think everyone thought "Masks!". not, masquerade. it was pretty funny though ))

Nell: "That could turn out interestingly." I imagined all those Day Class girls wearing ridiculously scandilous dresses and trying to seduce the Night Class guys. I sighed. If that was the case, I wouldn't be able to enjoy myself. I would be on guard duty. Or worse, clean up duty.

Gray : I shrugged. "I'm not going. You have to bring a date and thats not my type of thing."

Anala: I push past Chance as i walk through the halls, wanting to do more than just hurt his shoulder. I see Gray and Nell talking and need a reason for Chance to leave me alone if he comes after me. I put on a small, polite smile before walking quietly up to them.
"Hey guys," my voice comes out small. i clear my throat, shifting my books in the crook of my arm.

Nell: I leaned against the wall and stared at him. "I don't see much point in my going either if I have to have a date," I said. I folded my arms and looked out the window. I didn't want to experience life anymore; I just wanted to go to sleep.

Xero : i walked slowly from out of Alec's room, passing by the open doors of the night-class Manor. A promise ring...a ring that meant i would marry him....My cheeks became warm with a rose color. H-he said he loved me...He even planned to announce it at a Masquerade he organized for my birthday..

Gray : i looked at her, "But you have to go find out if you like dancing, remember?" I countered, rubbing my neck. It was starting to grow sore.

Nell: "I don't have anyone to dance with and I don't know how to dance," I reminded him. I fingered the silver jewlery in my left ear before returning my hands to my waist. I also didn't have a dress or a mask so really, what was the point to all this. I should just stick to what I could do; keep vampires from killing humans. That was what I was good at and all I would ever be good at.

Gray : "We'll probably be assigned as guards so the chairman probably had a dress ready for you." And another annoying suit and tie for me.

Nell: "Oh how nice, a dress picked out for me by the chairman." I didn't usually employ sarcasm as a weapon, but when I did it was bitingly obvious.

Xero : I startled at the sound of Anala's voice then sighed. "Sorry, i guess i'm a little..um...uh..I went to go see Alec." I said, hiding my ring by putting my hands behind my back.

Anala: "I see," I nod understandingly. "I suppose you two will making a grand appearance at the ball, I'm sure," I half smile at her as she blushes a little bit more.

Xero : He told everyone about it arleady? Wow, vampires really were fast.. I nodded. "I hope its fun. Do you plan to ask mr markus as your date?"

Nell: "Better than finding a date and learning how to dance," I said. I stared at the far wall. I had actually been looking forward to dancing, but I didn't have anyone to go with so that was off the to-do list.

Gray : I stood and put my hands in my pockets. "I'm sure some love-struck idiot will go and ask you to dance." She was pretty enough for that.

Nell: So, only idiots would ask me to dance? "I can't wait," I said.
