Rose lay on her bed staring into silence, thinking. Thinking dark thoughts as the darkness surounding her thickened like a blanket.

Rose jumped, hearing her teacher hit the desk and appeared in the corner of the room where the shadows where darkest. "Is something wrong m'lady?" She didn't stop to think she might scare the water guardian.
