"Yes." He said. "Plus protecting yourself is a different matter. Sometimes you can't help it." He was speaking words of wisdom, words that he himself didn't relate to. It made him feel guilty and ashamed.

She sat up. "Can you really console a killer? Am I truly any better then Leon or my sister?" she knew she wasn't she knew there was no redemtion for her.

She took a deep breath and spoke, standing up. "I'm gonna go." She said sadly. "I need some fresh air." she was rigid as she walked to the door. She wanted to spill everything. To be able to tell him about her painful dreams that would forever haunt her. She wanted to tell him why she was so scared and cautious. Why she didn't trust. Why she was alone.

She stopped, taking a deep breath deciding that secrets were not acceptable from herself anymore and turned around, eyes glassed over with unshed tears. "There's a good reason I don't want to use a gun any more." she stated.

She loked down. "What if it's already happened?" she asked. "You can't protect me from my past." she closed her eyes once again and didn't meet his gaze. "I take it back, I'd us a gun if...if I got to have reveng on Mari for what she's done."

She nodded. "Ok." She couldn't help but put her hand on her abdomen where the gunshot wound was at the mention of the pair. It stung when she touched it and she pulled her hand away with a wince. "How are you feeling?" she asked, gently.
