"Sorry but I have a partner," she curtseyed at Keith; she couldn't blow her cover quite yet, she couldn't say no to one and yes to another, that would blow it.
"My name shouldn't be of importance to one that I need not want to speak or see again," her voice was rather bitter, "On a second thought, I would dance with you Sir," she turned back to Keith and smiled; Jon wouldn't mind.

"Hmm I guess not, though you can be sure my dear, no matter your name" I leaned in to whisper to her ear "I know you do not belong here, and It would be easy for me to find you again" I said, smiling raising my glass before walking away to leave her with her thoughts.

A lump rose to Freedom's throat as she stammered slightly; the whole 'whispering in the ear' thing, that freaks her out, mainky because it was something that Tanner does to her. Her eyes followed to Keith's as she drew a crooked smile on her face, "I think you're gonna see the apple that I ate earlier..." her voice was still in the accent though as she gripped his arm, herself feeling frail and weak.
The truth was that she did belong here, that was the problem. She looked at Keith and bit her lip, "I think he's onto us..."

The prince looked at Lorenna. "What do you think of this masquerade?" he asked.

I sipped my wine, they must be here for some reason or another, the most obvious answer would be to either assinate someone, or either steal something valuble. The crown jewels would be a likely target no doubt.
And it would figure, a girl of their party was dancing with the prince, she probably wanted to seduce him if she was after his jewels. Though the same method would work if she wanted to assinate him.
hmm, this was really interesting, who knew this ball would have entertainment.
I watched the prince and the girl, then caught the eye of the girl who refused to dance with me, smiling to her I made sure she saw I was watching the prince with interest at his dance partner.

"I-I- dunno..." she stopped a second in the middle of the dance floor, "I think I need to sit down," she brushed past him and took the chair on the otherside of the room, herself still shaking. What if this was gonna be it? What if she didn't make it outta here? What if Tanner finds out? She had no clue.
Close to tears, she pressed her hands together biting her lip; no one noticed her, she was just a young girl with no self confidence on the edge of tears in the middle of the place.

The prince guided her off the dance floor. "Then lets make it more fun." He smirked. Gripping her hand tightly so she could not get away.

"Don't look at him, he thinks we are up to something. And we are not as far as anyone knows." Keith followed her making sure she was alright, he then took his place by a wall. If anything happened it would be this man trying to de-mask Keith.
