Lorenna: "You don't know need to tell me to be careful," I said, annoyed. "I've dealt with worse. I've dealt with Tanner." I smirked underneath my mask.

(Awww, see ya!)

"I need to get a drink," she smiled as she headed over to the punch, her mask still in hand, she sighed as she looked around the room.
"Excuse me young lady, may I please get to the punch?" his voice was recognized instantly by her; Lord Hylia, her uncle.
She just nodded and slipped away before any words were exchanged, he looked after her a little confused but started talking to his wife instead.
She stood at the side and looked around; she couldn't find Jon, great. This was gonna be the death of her.

Tj: I smooth my hands down the front of my dress, letting out a deep slow breath of agitation. I felt so vulnerable without any real weapons. I swirl the cool glass of champagne in my left hand. It was to be a 'quiet' death, as Tanner put it. No fun. I sigh more audibly this time before walking smoothly across the floor, sipping the other glass in my right hand carefully.

His name was Leviathan Monroe. Quite a name for someone so vile. He already has his little parade of girls around him. I put on a smile, catching his attention easily. He looks me over lazily, and I can tell he's already had a drink or two tonight.
"Mr. Monroe?" I ask carefully, innocently. He smiles widely, turning away from his small group to face me.
"Yes, my dear?" He asks back, kindly, if you can call it that. I hold the glass out to him.
"Can you handle one more drink, with me?" I add, taking another small sip of mine. He takes the glass in a sweep, brushing his hand past mine. He keeps his eyes to mine the whole time.
"Of course," he takes a long, luxurious drink from the glass before setting it down on a nearby table. He takes mine too, then my hand and pulls me to him. "Would you mind a dance?"
I start counting down. Five minutes. "Not at all."

The prince pushed towards Lorenna. He greeted the couple. "I'm Prince Leonard." He looked at Lorenna.

Keith nodded, it was more of bow. He decided to remain silent.

"Ahh, i see" I commented to the prince "she is with a partner though" I smiled, knowing that wouldnt stop the prince, as it wouldn't stop me. speak of the devil,
"My lord, it appears a lady is on her own, if you would excuse me" I bowed to him, heading towards the young girl from before.

Freedom continued to scan the room, her eyes darting around mainly looking her uncle; he was acting slightly peculiar to say the least. With a sigh, she looked down to her front, brushing it over. Next thing she knew that guy from earlier was walking over to her. Great.

Lorenna: I dropped a less than perfect curtsy. It wasn't that it was wobbly, quite the contrary. Even on a busted leg I could execute graceful movements. It simply didn't have an ounce of respect in it. "Lady Belair," I replied.

Tj: He leads through the first few measures of the next song easily in silence. After a while though, he begins to speak.
"So, will I ever be honored with a glimpse of your face?" he murmurs in my ear, pulling me closer. I rest my cheek against his, almost pulling away when I catch the alcohol on his skin.
"If you're lucky, you might." I feel him grin against my neck. Three minutes.
"Well, we'll have to see about that." He chuckles a little, spinning me out and back. "If you don't mind me asking, but are you accompanied by anyone, this evening, miss?" he tilts his head to the side a bit. I shake my own, half smiling a little.
"No, in fact, I'm not."
"I'm honored that you came just to see me," he grins mischievously. I take a step closer to him, lowering my voice.
"Whoever said something like that?" I ask rhetorically. His grin fades away, his grip tightening on me just as the song ends. Neither of us move though.
"If you are not being courted by anyone this evening, I would love to be your escort," he says after a moment. I don't move my gaze away from his, keeping it even. One minute.
"Now, you wouldn't want to keep your friends waiting, would you? Mr. Monroe?" I ask, not smiling or letting a single emotion slip through. His eyes are dark for another moment before he lets me go.
"Right. It was wonderfully dancing with you, Miss," he bows lightly to me. And this time, I manage a half smile.
"As it was for me," I turn away at that, knowing he's going to lead one of his little girls away for the night. But he won't get the night. He'll get twenty seconds. And by then, I'll be gone.

"Lord Trevor." Keith announced himself.

"May I?" The prince asked Keith, who nodded.

Lorenna: I waved goodbye to Keith and took the prince's arm. "I'm not a very good dancer. You might have to teach me a few things," I told him.

"My lady, it seems you have been abandoned by your escort" I bowed my head to her in greeting,
"My name is Ruben Tyron, I do not believe I caught your name" I said standing beside her. If I could find out who she was, then maybe I could find out why these people were here, they really did interest me.

(okayy:D)

Tj: I snatch my glass off the table Monroe had set it down on and take a long sip. I really needed it. When was I going to find a job worth doing? Tanner was always sending me on stupid little side missions that are just...I don't know, boring! I sigh, looking around. What. To. Do. My forehead creases as I spot someone I recognized from earlier. I started heading in his direction. Jacko, that was it. The one guy Tanner hated more than anything. Ha.

Keith leaned against the wall, and watched things unfold. He felt strange when the man talked with freedom.

"You are very graceful." The Prince said, laying on compliments quite thick. His voice was a more proper version of Keith's.

(ohh..yeah x.x, kay here's the new post-->)

Tj: I snatch my glass off the table Monroe had set it down on and take a long sip. I really needed it. When was I going to find a job worth doing? Tanner was always sending me on stupid little side missions that are just...I don't know, boring! I sigh, looking around. What. To. Do. I set the glass back down before I crush it. I glance over my shoulder and at the golden clock on the wall, checking the time. And in that one second, I bump into someone. I close my eyes, swearing at myself in my head. Then I reopen them, putting on a sheepish smile. "I'm sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going."

"I wasn't abadonned as you so bluntly stated it as," she looked at him, a brow raised beneath her mask, "Either way I do think it would be best if one of us left. You seem quite adement so I shall bid my leave," her voice didn't shake or teeter back to her Lower End accent, the one that she used all the time now and not her normal posh one.
She slipped away and shook her head, not beleiving that he could be so...arrogant. That made two people. Her uncle, Lord Hylia, was on the oter side of the room now as she stopped beside a rather delicate and pretty plant. Taking one of the flowers between her fingers, she bent over to give it a bit of a sniff, it wasn't to far away, just that she rather liked a certain bud to the rest.

Tj: I almost let my frown slip through. What was with men always blaming themselves? Must be a etiquette thing. I hung around rude obnoxious ones too often. I recognize the voice...sort of. But I can't put a name to it. I let out a deep breath, trying to place it, but just...can't. "It seems as though we've met before..." I trail off thoughtfully.
