Alice heard the sound of the cars screeching and froze, remembering the same sound before Dylan had crashed, dying. Tears welled up in her eyes but she blinked them away. "Forget the past, what's done is done." She took out the black lace mask out of her pocket.

Ash: I nod, respecting that. "I'm surprised you don't recognize me," i say lightly, flipping my hair and putting on an arrogant smile. "But since you obviously don't, I'm Ash. Just Ash. Unless you absolutely need to know what my name is. So I'll just stay down here while I ask you if you'd take a job. Not permanent, necessarily, but if you really like it," I shrug. "We'll just have to see." By now, my arrogant smile and tone was replaced with a more serious, business-like one.

Phantom: I tilt my head in consideration. A job, I've had many of those in the past. I carefully jump down and land infront of him, he was atleat a foot taller than me. "What kind of job?" I ask interested.

Ash: Whoa there, head rush. She was a lot smaller than at first sight. I blink down at her. "Uh...just a little mission I'm putting together." I ruffle the back of my head, pursing my lips. "What do you do, exactly? I mean, gettin' away from those morons is pretty easy, but seriously." I say carefully.

Phantom: I grinned. "Almost everything." I was one of those orphans who actually did something with thier lives, one of those girls anyway. Even at seventeen I was called a child. It was probably because I was tiny, stupidly tiny. It was helpful at times but usually pretty annoying.

Ash: I nod slowly. "Can you handle an MK-S rifle?" I blurt, raising a brow. It was a requirement that I had. Why? Because if you can't handle a rifle, then there's no way I'm giving anybody a handgun.

Ash: I half smile. "If you anythin' like Jackai, I'm sure you can handle the job I have in mind for just fine." I start to turn around and walk away. That's when I realize it. I'd never spoken to Jakai about this. Uh-oh. I stop, "Seymour Cafè, seven 'o clock tomorrow mornin'." I say, glancing over my shoulder at her. "You'll get to meet a few of the others. Don't be late." I turn back around, heading back to where the race was just getting good.

I pull from my stupor, scowling at myself. I don't need back into this. I block out the roaring engines as I flip out my phone, calling David at the baker. "How is everything there?" I ask him, he was fairly new, and leaving him alone now seemed a little stupid on my part. "Fine, I burnt a pan of bread." He paused guiltily, "But thats it." He adds quickly. I grin a bit. "That fine, I'll be back soon I think, you can hold it down til then?" He assures me that he can and I hang up, sighing.

Ash: I saunter casually over to where Jakai is, whistling softly to myself. She doesn't even look at me.
"What."
"What, what?" I say back lightly. Her eyes narrow at where they're glued to the horizon, looking for Mason's - it's actually mine - car, no doubt.
"God, you think you're so freaking smooth, Ashitaka," she grins as she says my name. "Yeah, I said it. But anyway, what's up? And I know you're going to ask a favor, don't even." She finally turns to look at me.
I half smile. "Jackie," I start, "I need you to round up Bleu, Kain, and 14. I wanna introduce ya to the new recruit." I say lightly. But she doesn't fall for it.
"You what?!
"It's just..Yeah. I found her a few minutes ago, and--"
"Drop it. I'll get 'em for you. See you." She says curtly, walking away.
"Seven at Seymours!" I call out to her. She flips me off. I laugh. I can't help it. At least she said yes.

Phantom: I sauntered over to the Cafe at exactly six fifty nine, wearing a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. I sat at a small table in a corner near a drainpipe. Here I had at least seven different escape routes in case of an emergency.
