The swordswoman's brow furrowed. The bow wasn't nessessary- she was only a mercenary, a common fighter. Sighing she thought, I need to lighten up.
When Hawk left she hesitated, torn between her curiosity and going back to her room. Finally Kitiara decided that she'd only be in the way on deck and headed downstairs.

June: I hold little Jacky tight and wander around looking for my cabin, I was so lost. The number of my room just vanished from my head and I can't remember it at all. As the ship moves I fall over, laughing most of the time because it was more fun than scary for me.

Kitiara saw June as she headed for he cabin. "Hey, are you lost?" she asked, searching her mind for the right number.

June: I laughed. "Thats an understatement." I rammed myself into a wall as the ship shifted in the waves. Smooth.

(did you know that ducks are just wearing dog masks?)

Kitiara smiled after catching herself from falling as well. "You're in room number 32. It's just down the hall," The swordswoman yawned widly behind a hand. It had been a long day.

June: I smiled and waved at her in thanks. Walking to my room I opened the door and put down little Jack, letting him find a cosy corner for himself. I laid on my bed and sighed, this will be a long trip.

Kitiara laid, down but did not immediately go to sleep. She tossed and turned, worried about the ship and the people that awaited her help. Secretly, she missed the more carefree life of a mercenary. Eventually sleep over came her and she slipped into dreamless unconsciousness.

The next morning, the amber-eyed swordswoman awoke to the sound of rolling thunder, and jumped out of bed. Dashing through the hall, she rushed to the top deck in a state of panic born of a dream. But the masts still stood firm against the onslaught. The old ship was pulling through. Knowledge quickly replaced fear.

June: Curiously I walked up to the top deck leaving Jack in my Cabin. I finally reached the top and got outside to see a mass of angry green clouds above and a flood of water on the deck itself. I waded to the mainmast then to the steering wheel(my salior slang has left me ) and stood infront of the first mate. I gave him a hasty salute. "I am a doctor, is there anything I can do to help?" I called to him over the waves. He smiled grimly and pointed to the left near the crew's quarters. I went inside to find a mass of half drowned and injured sailiors moaning. With a moan myself I rolled up my sleeves and started to help the sailors feeling slight self concious.

Hawk frowned slightly in guilt when he saw again the group of injured sailors. It was his fault they were in such a state. He shouldn't have asked their help in lowering the sails. He should've done it himself. It wouldv'e taken half the night, sure, but that would have been a small price to pay for the safety of his crew. His mind flashed back to the boom mast swinging around, hitting five sailors. The main sail, blown by the wind, slamming a few more into the mizzen mast.
He shook the thoughts from his mind. What was done was done. Their was no point in dwelling on the past. They all had to keep their eye on the future, especially with the mission that lay ahead.

June: I grimaced at some of the men's wounds, some got off easy with a bad rope burn, others got broken arms. I saw a boy a little younger than me cradling his limp left arm, it was dislocated. As I fixed the boy screamed in pain, which is usual but still tears off a piece of my heart everytime. I finished nursing the ailing men and sent them to rest in thier quarters, I stepped out onto the wet deck and went in search for anyone else I could help.
