"Let me tell you something." Jack started, "You were picked out of hundreds of pilots, for something that is more dangerous than anything you can imagine." He paused. "Two men have died, two good men." He swallowed. He didn't know why he started, but he did, he could inform the other few later. "Your piloting skills will be stretched farther than you could ever think." He thought that was a good length, "Welcome to the Aviators, I am Jack O'Hara, leading pilot." He then smiled, being serious was not his forte. He wiped a bit of sweat off his brow while he waited for her response.

She held out her hand, smiling. "Dru Nation. I always did like a challenge," The blond sobered, "It's not really about life or death- is it? More about what you accomplish for others,"

Jack shook her hand. "True, but you will be put in life or death situations, its how a very well respected lieutenant died. He thought of others first." She was what Marines, it looked like. Maybe word had floated around. He was surprised she didn't know who he was, they had gone to every academy doing shows to entertain the students, and soldiers.

She nodded, "Wait... you're that guy who flew with the Red Angels- right? You came to the academy a few times," Dru remembered draping blankets over the lawn to watch them perform stunts.

Jack smiled, "Yeah. I miss it sometimes, but this rush is a little more than what I get flying a choreographed show." He smiled, "What branch?" He asked simply.

Jack smiled, he guessed thats what she was, but he was hoping for Air Force. "Brock was in the Air Force, he's one of the men who died."

She nodded, and winked, "Airforce aren't the only one's with planes, but I'm sorry for your loss," He seemed to take the death of these two men very hard.

The young woman's bow furrowed in empathy. She'd lost comrades as well. "What better way to carry on their memories than to continue their legacy, than to keep doing your best?" Dru knew that in time his pain would fade, replaced by anger or determination. She had seen it all to many times.

He smiled, and then determination glinted in his eyes. "Its why I'm here." he sat down, "Back to business. Both Mark, and Brock were killed while in the air." He started.
