I rolled my eyes, blushing furiously and mouthed at her, "My sister is right there! She's only twelve!" I widened my eyes and gave her a look.

"Now you better watch yourself before I-" I felt my nose bleeding and I touched it, looking at the bright red blood. I cursed in Italian, not caring if my grandmother heard and ran back inside fast. I ran up the stairs, swaying, lungs closing up.

I ran to the bathroom and opened the cabinet. I pulled out my bottle of pills and gasped, feeling a sudden burst of agony in my stomach. I got out 4 pills and took them without water. The burst came again and I screamed in agony. Kyla ran inside and helped me sit. "Starr, what's wrong?" She asked, eyes welling with tears. I choked out what was wrong in Italian and she gasped. "Grandma!" She screamed and within a minute, Grandma was kneeling next to me. She pressed on my lower side and I cried out in pain. She nodded and I pounded my fist against the ground. Kyla reached up and grabbed the pills for my Stage 5 Stomach cancer and helped me take the pills. In a few minutes, I sat there gasping. The pain subsided for now.

Kyla: I watched as Grandma used her weird witchy powers and looked up at Valentine, "Before Starr was marked..She had stomach cancer. Terminal and at Stage 5, the most dangerous level of it." I say, tears in my eyes.

Kyla: I saw the tears in Valentine's eyes and say, "I know you might not want to hear this but you have to, considering how close you guys are. She only has a few days left..."
