I see the cuts on her wrists and glance down at my arms. I saw the faint lines of the scars and it brought back memories full force. I placed a hand over my mouth and ran to the bathroom. I locked the door and slid down it, my breathing fast and erratic. I was having a panic attack.

Starr's skin became sickly pale and drenched with sweat as she struggled to breathe. Her lips became a pale and sickly blue and she was unable to move.

Memories of her mother's death came back and she relived it all over again. Afterwards, the physical pain of cutting herself and putting herself in the hospital along with the mental pain of losing her mother, merged together and she laid there, her heart slowing to a stop.

She heard a voice, a soothing one that was terrified, call her name. Her mind couldn't process it as her breathing stopped along with her heart. She floated in the darkness knowing that she would probably never come back.

The voice continued to talk to her and she slowly but surely recognized it but it didn't do anything as far as bringing her back.
