Violet: I looked, my eyes flickered silver.
Voice: "Found her."
Violet: "Run." I turned and legged it, super speed, holding on to Sauda's wrist.

Sauda: I did my best to keep up with her on my now twisted ankle. This is not gonna' work, I thought. Violet's grip on my arm was tight. Perfect. I purposefully stepped down on a rock, making us both jolt backwards. Using all of my strength, I twisted myself out of Violet's grasp, sending her flying at Ashrah. I unsheathed Kale. "Sorry, Violet. I never run from a fight."

Violet: "Fine. Sorry about the ankle. And it isn't a fight. It's a rescue party." I looked at her, they got told when I touched the crystal I bet."

Sauda: "But they're enemy right?" I asked. Violet nodded. "Then that settles it." I looked at the dragon Violet had smashed against. "Ashrah," I said, sending her a message through our thoughts. She touched Violet's hand, and returned to her sword form. "Fight with her," I commanded Violet.

Violet: "I don't do swords much." I touched the side of the blade and swiped it in the air, "But she's a beaut."

Sauda: "Mhm," I agreed. "Now, let's deal with these guys." I pointed at the people gathered at the wood line. "Can you tell if any of them are thieves?"

Violet: "Two of them. The ones with the marks on their hands." I showed her mine, "If they have them, don't kill them." Then I stopped, "No, not Styler..."
Styler: "That's her." I smiled and walked out, by myself.

Sauda: I saw one person walking out towards us, the marks were there. I crouched into a fighting stance. "Violet, I don't like this. I'm telling you right now, if I get one strange look, I'll make things ugly."

Violet: ''How?'' I said calmly.
Styler: ''That necklace, you know it's power well.'' I smiled.

Violet: ''Sauda, cool it.'' I put my hand out to her.
Styler: ''Anyway, we have to take you back, now.'' I put out my hand, ''Come on Violet.''
Violet: I snorted, ''No way. You're crazy.'' I shook my head.
Styler: ''Tell you what, I'll be nice. 24 more hours then you're coming back, you know what will happen if you don't.'' And with that, I disappeared.

Violet: ''Basically. When I was young I ran away from home because my mother died and my father went kinda crazy. Eventually I adopted the knack of being an assassin and being solo. I grew cold and hardy. Styler is my kinda boyfriend and so is quite protective of me. And also when a Shadow Thief turns 16 theres this ceremony thing and if I don't go then I'll die, hense the search party.'' I smiled.

Sauda: "Memory loss?" I picked up a dagger someone had dropped and threw it off to the side, not taking my eyes off Violet. I heard the dagger hit the tree right where I'd intended it to. "That doesn't sound too good."
